UPT Positive Seketika

Assalamualaikum wbt....

Cerita dah basi... Tapi nak share jugak... Last 3 month, I ada demam teruk... Seminggu gitu... Demam virus... Dah siap ambik darah semua... Takut denggi jer... Habis beratus la bila pergi klinik swasta... Sebab apa g klinik swasta? Sebab dah biasa ngan doc tu... N rasa comfort dengan dia... Kalau pergi Klinik Kerajaan pun boleh... Tapi malas pulak... Lama nak nunggu nyer...

Bila dah demam virus, doc ada tanya.... Nak inject atau nak ubat? I pilih nak inject.... I kan takut jarum... huhu... Doc bg tips " Masa saya kira 3,2,1 awak tarik nafas yea"... Anggukan I tu tanda setuju... Bila jarum tu dah nak masuk kt miss B I pun tarik nafas seperti yang diajar... Result : memang tak sakit wa cakap lu... Bagus...

So, tunggu jelah kebah.... Kalau makan ubat pun tak guna... Kesan dia kejap ajer... Nanti panas balik....

Then after 3 days tu I pergi lagi klinik... Wonder kenapa demam I masih x kebah... Walhal dah diberi injection n makan ubat dah.... Ubat tu tahan sekejap jer... Bila dah habis badan akan panas balik....

Doc suggest untuk buat UPT... memandangkan I dah 2 bulan x datang period... Owhhh... I memang jenis period tak regular macam orang lain... Kadang2 2 bulan x datang... Pe kes???

So, I pun check la UPT... After 5 minutes keluar camni...

Not really clear but still ada line...

N doc pun cakap "Congrats, u r pregnant"...
Dalam hati I berdetik, betul ke ni??? Rasa excited sangat pun tak... Rasa terkejut pun tak... Natural feeling...

Then, doc asked me to call my hubby... My hubby office is just next door to the clinic... My hubby pun suka la bila tengok result nie... Doc cakap "jangan bagi ur wife buat kerja berat-berat"....

Bila balik, I takde pun rasa apa... Tak nak berharap...
Doc suruh datang balik lagi 2 minggu...

Then, lepas 2 minggu I pergila check semula... Tengok gambar scan di bawah...

Check punya check... Gosok punya gosok... Abes gosok letak gel lagi... Masih takde nampak apa-apa... I tanya, "takde ke doc?".... Doc cakap "Jap, saya tengah cari lagi"....

Ok lah, fine... kite check UPT... Bila check UPT... After 5 minutes tunggu still -ve... Arghhh... rasa nak pitam jap... Kaciwa...

Ini bukan kali pertama, kali kedua dah... Kali pertama dulu, saya g check kat klinik jugak... Masa tu doc cakap "weakly positive".... Ada line tapi tak clear...

So, pasrah jelah... Nak cakap apa dah... Itu semua ketentuan Illahi...

Ni lah jadinya tangan I bila doc tu ambik darah... Sakitnya... Tak pernah doc ambik darah sampai lebam camni... Dia x jumpa urat katanya... Adoiiii.... I dah cukup putih dah nie pun still x dapat cari... Kalau orang kulit gelap macam mana lah agaknya...

Lepas 2 hari camni jadinya... Hurmmm... Pasrah jugak...

nota kaki : Jangan sedih... Ada hikmahnya... Allah tak berikan rezeki anak, bukan bermakna Allah tak sayang kita... Tapi Allah nak uji kita... Jika tiada rezeki anak sekarang tak mengapalah... Kita cuba lagi... Insya Allah...

thanks sudi baca... ;)

Assalamualaikum wbt....

Mulan memang suka search fact pasal fertility nieh... Actually it`s for my references.... For this time, Mulan CP ajer from Shine... n Mulan malas nak translate... ;-(

When it comes to babymaking, it seems as though everyone -- including your mother-in-law's best friend's sister -- has some insight to share. But chances are, a lot of what you hear is nonsense. "Fertility is a major part of our lives that we don't have a lot of control over," says Alice Domar, PhD, an assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive biology at Harvard Medical School. "When things don't happen the way we want, we look for explanations -- preferably something we can take direct action on -- and that's where the myths start to circulate." Check out the most common ones debunked below.

You've Heard That...Diet and Exercise Will Preserve Your Fertility

The truth: The quality of a woman's eggs declines with age regardless of how healthy she is, says Mary Jane Minkin, MD, a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Yale University.

Some experts estimate that in 35-year-old women, approximately 1 in 2 eggs are likely to have chromosomal abnormalities; and about 90 percent of eggs are abnormal in women aged 42 or older. And with fewer viable eggs, your fertility rate declines.

Research does show, however, that women who exercise regularly during pregnancy may have fewer pregnancy-related aches and pains. Also, eating a low-fat diet full of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains will help you stay at a healthy weight, which can improve your chances of getting pregnant at any age. "Overweight or obese women often have more trouble conceiving, and they're prone to developing complications such as gestational diabetes and high blood pressure," says Randy Morris, MD, an associate clinical professor for the division for reproductive endocrinology at the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago.

You've Heard That...Taking Birth Control Pills Will Make It Harder to Get Pregnant

The truth: The pill doesn't affect your fertility
. And menstrual-suppression pills (the kind you're on for months straight with no "weeks off") won't hamper your fertility either. Research shows that once you stop these pills, you'll start ovulating within three months and probably even sooner, just like with regular birth control pills. "You can start trying to get pregnant as soon as you stop taking them," says Dr. Morris. "They're so low-dose that the hormones are out of your system within a few days." In fact, the pill may have a protective effect. "It can help slow or even prevent the development of ovarian cysts and endometriosis, a condition in which uterine tissue grows outside the uterus in other organs like the fallopian tubes and ovaries," says Dr. Morris. Both cysts and endometriosis are conditions that can interfere with ovulation.

If you do have trouble getting pregnant once you stop taking the pill, it may be due to changes that have naturally occurred over time in your menstrual cycle. "Many women are on the pill for years, then go off it and find that their cycles are irregular," says Dr. Morris. "But the pill didn't cause those irregularities, it simply masked them."

You've Heard That...To Get Pregnant Quickly, You Should Have Sex Every Day
The truth: Sperm live for about 38 to 72 hours in your reproductive tract, so there's no need to, um, overload it. "I see so many people who are making their lives miserable by trying to have sex all the time," says Mark Leondires, MD, a reproductive endocrinologist and medical director of Reproductive Associates of Connecticut. Plus, having sex more than once a day for a few days in a row may reduce sperm count. "Figure out when you ovulate, and have sex every other day two to three days before and after that," he says. You ovulate approximately 14 days before you get your period: So if your cycle is 28 days, you ovulate on or around day 14. To learn more about how to tell when you're ovulating, check out resolve.org, the Web site of the National Infertility Association. And relax: On average, it takes healthy couples about four to six months to get pregnant.

You've Heard That...Stress Is the Most Common Reason That Women Have Trouble Getting Pregnant

The truth: Stress may play a role
, but it's not the most common culprit (ovarian dysfunction, which means you're not ovulating regularly, is). "The data showing that stress affects fertility is very weak," says Dr. Morris. "Part of the problem is that stress is difficult to measure. There are plenty of examples in which women under immense amounts of tension conceive and deliver babies -- in wartime and after 9/11, for example." Not only that, many of the studies that examine stress and a woman's ability to get pregnant look only at patients who are undergoing fertility treatments -- which means they may have other issues affecting their fertility as well.

Here's where the stress-conception link has some validity: Stress can alter hormonal balance, which may stop some women from ovulating. Research done by Sarah Berga, MD, chair of the department of gynecology and obstetrics at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, showed that in women who were suffering from amenorrhea (not getting your period), ovulation resumed when they underwent cognitive behavioral therapy.
Domar's advice to clients she treats at the Domar Center for Complementary Healthcare at Boston IVF: "Don't put too much pressure on yourself. When you're ready to start trying for a baby, stop using birth control and have sex when you feel like it. Don't start in right away with the ovulation-predictor kits, and don't get regimented about when you do it. This will just cause more stress."

You've Heard That...If You Have Regular Periods, You Should Have No Problem Getting Pregnant
The truth: "Getting your period around the same day every month indicates that you're ovulating regularly, but it doesn't ensure that the eggs are good quality," explains Dr. Morris. Many things factor into fertility, including the health of your reproductive system. "Your fallopian tubes [through which the egg travels to get fertilized] could be blocked, and you'll still get regular monthly periods," says Dr. Leondires. Again, that means not just eating right and exercising but keeping your sexual health in top form. Be sure to visit your ob-gyn yearly for a Pap smear, STD screening, and cervical exam -- all of which screen for irregularities and infections so you can get treated for them before they affect your fertility.

You've Heard That...Having an Abortion Affects Your Ability to Get Pregnant
The truth: An abortion affects fertility only if you had a complication during or after the procedure. An infection, for example, can leave scar tissue on the uterus that could then interfere with egg implantation, says Dr. Morris.

You've Heard That...If You've Already Conceived Once and Had a Healthy Baby, Getting Pregnant Again Will Be a Cinch
The truth: "This is one of the biggest misconceptions my patients have," says Dr. Morris. "You're older the second time, and your reproductive system changes over the years," he says. New research shows that a guy's sperm quality also declines with age: A study of about 2,000 couples undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) found that pregnancy attempts were 70 percent more likely to fail if the man was 40 or older. So if you do plan on having more children, don't wait too long. If you're approaching age 35 -- or you're older --consider getting started on baby number two sooner rather than later.

You've Heard That...Having a Miscarriage Make It Harder to Conceive
The truth: Miscarriage, which occurs in 20 percent of all pregnancies -- doesn't affect a woman's ability to get pregnant, says Henry Lerner, MD, author ofMiscarriage: Why It Happens and How Best to Reduce Your Risks. In fact, experts say that in many cases, you can start trying to conceive again as soon as one month after the miscarriage. If you have three miscarriages in a row, however, it may be a sign of an underlying medical problem and your doctor should do tests to figure out if something's wrong.

4 perubahan pemakanan untuk mengandung

Pernahkah anda terfikir bahawa tabiat pemakanan sebelum mengandung penting? Saya ingat hanya pengambilan ubat saja yang perlu diambil berat sebelum mengandung. Tapi, hakikatnya pemakanan bakal ibu juga sgt penting.

cik google

Jika anda mempunyai latar belakang keluarga yang mempunyai kecacatan salut neural, doktor berkemungkinan mencadangkan pengambilan 4000 mikrogram sehari, bermula sekurang-kurangnya sebulan sebelum mengandung sehinggalah trimester pertama kandungan.

Peranan Suami Ketika Isteri Hamil

Proble Evidence of Pregnancy

This category comprises mainly things you yourself notice:

Cessation of menses: Your period stops. Other things can cause this, but pregnancy and menopause top the list of possibilities.

Changes in the breasts: Tenderness early on, then later the nipples becoming darker and larger. Later on, colostrum discharge (milk precursor).

Chadwick's sign: This is an old term meaning a bluish discoloration of the vaginal tissue, caused by venous congestion in the area.

Abdominal striae: Also known as "stretch marks."
Increased pigmentation: The "linea nigra," or black line, runs up the center of the abdomen and usually fades after pregnancy.

Nausea
Increase in urination: This is due to the pressure of the growing uterus on the bladder. The bladder is a rather stupid organ and can't tell whether the pressure it should respond to is coming from inside (as in urine) or outside (the enlarging uterus).

Fatigue
Quickening: The woman's perception of movement between 16 and 20 weeks. "Quickening" is an elegant and old-fashioned term associated with the perception of life.

Enlargement of the abdomen: This is presumably due to increase in size of the uterus. The uterus can usually be felt through the abdomen after 12 weeks. This sign will be obvious earlier in the abdomens that have been stretched out before with a previous pregnancy. Into the second trimester, an actual measurement called the fundal height can be recorded each visit.

Changes in the size, shape, and consistency of the uterus: "Hegar's Sign" is when the uterus becomes so soft, usually at six weeks, that it is felt separately from the firmer cervix. Softening of the cervix usually occurs at about the same time, called "Goodell's Sign." The increase in size, as described above, is part of the total package change.

Braxton Hicks' Contractions: The irregular and unorganized contractions of the uterus.

Ballottement: A mid-pregnancy sign in which the fetus can be pushed from your abdomen and felt to bounce back, tapping your doctor's examining finger in the vagina. Obstetricians never use this technique anymore to diagnose pregnancy.

How to conceive a boy???

So, you've been dreaming of snakes, snails, puppy dog tails, and a baby bundled up in blue. Is there anything you can do to guarantee it's a boy.

Although most doctors and fertility experts claim that we can't influence whether we have a girl or boy, there's certainly a lot of compelling anecdotal evidence out there to the contrary.

Some parents are absolutely convinced that they conceived a baby boy by following certain techniques, changing their diet, using various "positions" in the bedroom or even drinking particular concoctions. Although medical doctors largely disregard these rituals as old wives' tales, it can't hurt to try a few, right? (Well, depending on the method or "position," it could hurt a little.)

If you're absolutely determined to have a baby boy and are willing to try anything, consider these tricks that some parents, astrologists, and even a few doctors swear by.
Follow the Chinese Lunar Birth Calendar

This famous gender-predicting calendar was purportedly drawn up by a Chinese scientist and then buried in a royal tomb 700 years ago. Or was buried for 700 years until a Chinese scientist dug it up. Or was it devised by a 700 year-old Chinese scientist? Well, something like that ... the history and background behind it is not easy to establish, but how to use it is. With this mystical calendar, a baby's sex is determined by the mother's age and the month in which she conceives.

Lunar calendar adherents say the chart is 99 percent accurate. (I must admit, it correctly predicted the gender of my little girl.) Working backwards, you can use Babyzone's interactive gender predictor, based on the Chinese lunar calendar, to find a month in which to conceive a boy. If you are intent on this method, some practitioners say there are some rules to follow, such as not trying to conceive during the very beginning or very end of a boy-yielding time frame.

21 Tips to Help You Conceive

1. Track Your Cycles
Contrary to popular belief, the optimal time for conception for normal couples is the five days before ovulation, and including the release of the egg, says Dr. Shelley Binkley, an OB-GYN in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. For most women, these are days nine through 14 from the start of their menstrual cycle. Consider the first day of full flow as "Day 1" of your cycle.

"The easiest way to determine your likely day of ovulation is to track your cycles for at least three months. Then, determine the average interval between consecutive first days of your menses, and subtract 14 days," Dr. Binkley says. "This will yield your most likely date of egg release." For example, if you have 28-day cycles, subtract 14 and your egg should be released on Day 14.

2. Have Sex at Peak Fertility

You may miss the most fertile time of your cycle if you time intercourse to occur just after your day of egg release, Dr. Binkley says. The egg can live in the female reproductive tract for about 36 hours. Sperm, on the other hand, can live there for up to five days."If you have intercourse for the five days preceding and on your day of ovulation, you maximize your chances of conceiving because the sperm are physically near the egg as it's being released, just 'hanging out' waiting to fertilize the egg."

3. Look for Fertility Signs
Use your body's physical signs of ovulation and pre-ovulation to predict optimal time for conception. Many women with regular cycles produce a clear mucus discharge in the few days preceding and during egg-release, Dr. Binkley says. It's "gooey" and "sticky," which is easy for sperm to penetrate and to sustain them on their way to the egg.

4. Invest in a Test
When women rely solely on the calendar to estimate when their ovulation will take place, they're frequently wrong, says Kelly Andrews, founder of Fairhaven Health, which sells natural products for fertility health. "There are many predictive tools on the market—at a variety of price points—that can help you, from fertility monitors to saliva ovulation microscopes to drugstore-brand ovulation tests."

5. Take Folic Acid
Women attempting pregnancy need to take a multivitamin with folic acid, which is crucial to the normal development of the baby's spine, Dr. Binkley says. Ideally, start taking the recommended amount of folic acid—.4 milligrams (mg)—three months before trying to get pregnant.

6. Eat Healthy
Green leafy vegetables, meats, and fortified cereals are common dietary sources of folic acid, Dr. Binkley says. During preconception and pregnancy, eat a commonsense diet—well-balanced with lots of fruits and vegetables. Avoid fast foods, snack foods, and refined sugars. Also, if you're undergoing fertility treatments, research has found that a Mediterranean diet may boost your chances of getting pregnant.

7. Try Innovative Foods
Try foods such as goji berries and kombucha drinks to boost your fertility, says Dawn Clare, an intuitive coach and alternative healer in Santa Monica, California. Goji berries are the highest rated antioxidant food filled with nutritional value, including protein, minerals, and amino acids. Kombucha drinks also are filled with vitamins and are a natural detoxifier and health aid to support the fertility process.

8. Stop Trying

Sometimes when you stop "trying" to have a baby, you find yourself pregnant. It's not always that simple, but for some people, the stress of sex for conception makes the act ineffective and something to avoid. It's hard to conceive when you aren't having sex!

9. Have Orgasms

Orgasms may increase the likelihood of conception. Of course, an orgasm is absolutely necessary for a man to participate in the conception process, and according to some experts, the contractions of the uterus after orgasm help the sperm along. Regardless, the message is loud and clear: Have fun with your sex life!

10. Make Love—Often

"Timing intercourse to correspond with your ovulation date is important, but research indicates that couples who make love regularly—at least a few times per week—improve their chances of conceiving sooner," Andrews says.

11. Do It Missionary Style

"The missionary position with the man on top is generally regarded as the best sexual position to use when trying to achieve pregnancy," Andrews says. Positions with the woman on top are generally not recommended for women trying to get pregnant.

12. Do It "Doggy Style"

If you have a tipped uterus, the best position is having your partner enter you from behind, doggy style. This may provide sperm with better access to the cervix, Andrews says.

13. Avoid Regular Lubricants

Regular lubricants have been clinically shown to harm sperm and impede their progress, Andrews says. Instead, use a "sperm-friendly" lubricant that is specifically designed for trying-to-conceive couples.
Egg whites are a great lubricant option. Really!

14. Clean Up Your Act

The sooner you want to conceive, the sooner you—and your partner!—should stop indulging in alcohol, cease smoking, and limit caffeine, Andrews says. It's not always easy to stop harmful behaviors, especially when they have become addictions. There is no shame in seeking outside help to assist you in your efforts. Ask your doctor or medical provider for a referral.

15. Exercise

Maintain your current exercise routine to keep your blood flowing, Dr. Binkley says. But it's not a good time to begin a vigorous exercise routine when you're trying to get pregnant or during your pregnancy. Walking is always a good option.

16. Maintain a Healthy Weight

"If a woman is overweight or underweight, she decreases her chance of conception," Vincent says. "Normal production of estrogen is increased for obese women, and abnormal hormone levels can interfere with conception. Eating snacks like nutrition bars, can help a woman's body be healthy—a healthy, well-nourished body is more likely to conceive than one that is not."

17. Get Your ZZZs

It's important to get enough sleep when you're trying to conceive. Most sleep experts agree that seven to eight hours of sleep each night is a good target for the average adult. If you are falling short of this recommendation, try setting up a bedtime routine that includes a warm bath before bed and some downtime, like reading or journaling, rather than watching television.

18. Acupuncture

Eunice Kan, an acupuncturist in Burlingame, California, believes acupuncture is a great way to speed up conception by helping women to relax their bodies and minds, and it helps to balance any hormonal issues they may be experiencing, such as irregular cycles, painful periods, and endometriosis. "For an average healthy woman, an acupuncture treatment of one to two times a week, plus taking herbs every day, is a good idea to boost fertility," Kan says. An average session takes about an hour, which includes a health consultation.

19. Take Herbs

A common herbal formula used to boost fertility is Si Wu Tang, which consists of white peony root, Chinese angelica root, Chinese foxglove (rehmannia), and Sichuan lovage root (endium). This can be taken after menstruating to help tonify the blood lost monthly and to rebalance the body, Kan says. Before taking any herbs for conception, consult an expert and your doctor.

20. Engage in Yoga and/or Meditation

Yoga and meditation can help women trying to conceive to attain relaxation. Yoga cat stretches are ideal to get the energy moving in vital parts of the body and reproductive energy centers.

21. Be Positive

Erase worry from your mind. Worrying about not getting pregnant creates a negative impact on your body, Clare says. Increase your "feel good" endorphins by reading funny and inspirational stories. Enjoy your time as a couple. "Unhappiness puts a large stress on the woman's body and acts as a barrier to conception."

17 Tips For A Healthier Pregnancy

1. Watch Your Weight

Come as close to your ideal weight as possible. Being seriously overweight or underweight can influence birth defects such as cleft palate and diabetes

2. Stop Smoking

"While many substances from smoke that could be harmful to a fetus are cleansed from the body in days, some are stored in fat and take longer to eliminate.

3. Don't Drink

As with smoking, some harmful substances are stored in fat and can take a month or more to eliminate. Fetal alcohol syndrome can cause serious defects and learning disabilities—some of which might not show up for several years.

4. Don't Do Drugs

Stop recreational drugs. "All have an adverse effect on the fetus," says Dr. Cole.

5. Schedule Checkups

Plan checkups for both parents-to-be. This is the time to talk about your medical history, ask questions, and find out whether any tests are recommended. This preconception visit is especially important if you have preexisting conditions, such as thyroid disease or diabetes, or if you have had problems with a previous pregnancy. Note that the father's health and habits also play a role in the health of your baby. "Most men don't think they need to do anything," says Dr. Cole.

6. No More Pill or IUD

According to the March of Dimes, "If you have been using birth control pills, your provider can tell you how long to wait before trying to conceive. However, birth control pills will not cause birth defects, no matter how close to conception you stop using them.

7. Ask about Prescriptions

Discuss any prescription medications you are taking with your physician, especially drugs for depression, anxiety, and other common disorders, advises Dr. Cole. These medications can be very damaging to a fetus. "You may need to stop or change medication, and you want give your body time to adjust before trying to conceive," he adds.

8. Take a Prenatal Vitamin

Start taking prenatal vitamins at least two months before conception. A good prenatal vitamin should include folic acid and calcium among other nutrients that are important to a healthy pregnancy and baby. The March of Dimes reports that birth defects of the spine and brain, such as spina bifida and anencephaly, can occur if the mother does not get sufficient folic acid during the first few weeks of her pregnancy. According to the March of Dimes, the suggested dosage for folic acid for a non-pregnant woman is 0.4 mg. and for a pregnant woman it is 0.8 to 1.0 mg. Folic acid is also contained in many foods, including leafy greens, oranges and grapefruits, and whole grain breads.

9. Get Vaccinated

Check to see if you've had or been vaccinated for rubella and varicella. "Your immunity to both childhood diseases can be easily checked with a blood test and save you from concern if you are exposed to them during pregnancy.

10. Take an HIV Test

If you don't know your HIV status, most obstetricians routinely offer the test shortly after verifying pregnancy—yet HIV-positive women have a much better chance of sparing their babies from contracting the disease if they are aware of their HIV status before conception.

11. Know Your Blood Types

If you don't already have this information, it's helpful to learn your blood types before conception (though they don't actually come into play until pregnancy). "If they are not compatible, you run the risk of the mother being incompatible with her fetus, leading to anemia or more serious problems for the infant at birth," says Dr. Cole.

12. Build a Family History

Create a prenatal family history to identify possible genetic birth defects.

13. See Your Dentist

Periodontal inflammation plays a possible role in the development of preeclampsia, the potentially deadly condition that affects approximately five percent of pregnancies in the United States, according to a recent study in The Journal of Periodontology. It may be implicated in other pregnancy complications as well.

14. Reduce Stress

Women should monitor their stress levels. "An anxious day or two at work probably won't do you in, but prolonged stress can cause real problems. There are no magic rules for a when a woman should stop working during pregnancy. A woman's decision should be based on her level of fatigue, the type of work involved, her pregnancy history, and her doctor's opinion," advises Dr. Jonathan Scher, author of Preventing Miscarriage: The Good News.

15. Watch out for Toxins

Dr. Scher notes that while environmental factors are often a great concern and cause of guilt for parents when they suffer a miscarriage, studies are inconclusive about specific environmental factors and pregnancy loss or recurrent miscarriage. "We cannot control many factors, other than doing our best to curb certain social habits and known toxins," Dr. Scher says.

16. Be Sure You're Physically Safe

Domestic violence is a real problem in our country, and women who are pregnant are victims more often than we realize. If you are not safe, the chances are that your baby will not be safe either. This is something about which you can speak with your doctor.

17. Make a Contract with Your Husband

Men and women often think everything will be equal when the baby is born only to find one party doing it all. Clearly spell out—in writing if necessary—who is going to be responsible for what chores and how baby care will be divided.
